You are amazing, Lord God our rescuer,
to you be all respect, for ever you are the best.
As a man of sorrows and who knew the deepest grief
your only Son was lifted up
that he might gather the whole world to himself.
May we walk this day in jesus footsteps toward the cross
and always be ready to share its weight,
declaring your love for all the world.
